THE FINAL CHANGE FOR GOOD!
“If any man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait till my change come.” Job 14:14 KJV.
“If we humans die; will we live again? That’s my question. All through these difficult days I keep hoping, waiting for the final change-for resurrection! MSG.
I believe you must have heard people said “the only permanent thing is change.” Well, the validity of that statement is highly questionable as change occurs and reoccurs over and over again. Times, seasons and people change from time to time. And men everywhere seek change from bad to good. Presently, many nations across the globe are desperately looking, crying and praying for a change from a bad government to a good government. Those who are sick desire a change from ill health to good health. Poor people desire change from poverty to prosperity. Single ladies and guys also desire change of status from being single to being married. Likewise, also the married desire change of status from being married to being parents. The rich wants to become richer; this also is a change. All men desire CHANGE. May you experience a change for good!
However, these kinds of changes are not the permanent kinds. In fact, change itself is subject to change. You’ll agree with me that a married person can still experience a change to become single again. The rich can still become poor. A nation can experience change from bad government to a good government and then back to a bad government. In fact, no condition is permanent. Change is not static, change is dynamic. As a matter of fact, we live in a changing world and the world is changing rapidly until it becomes folded up like an old piece of cloth.
Now, while it is true that not all changes are permanent, there is kind of change that is permanent and permanently good! Once it occurs, it remains and abides forever. It’s a change that is not subject to change. This change cannot be altered, edited or improved upon. It is a change that endures forever more! It is The Resurrection Change! In this change lies the hope of Job as he watched his body undergo the change of mortality.

WE SHALL ALL B ECHNAGED!
“Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1 Corinthians 15: 51-53.
There is a great change coming! It is the final, permanent change for good. There is a great change coming; and it shall only be for the saints of God in Christ Jesus. There is a great change coming, it is an irreversible, glorious, spiritual change. There is a great change coming; a change that has no fear of change. In this final change, mortality will give way to immortality eternally. Weakness will bow to everlasting strength. Sickness, sorrow and sighing will be permanently replaced by everlasting joy. Troubles, temptations and tears will be a thing of the past. Poverty and lack will never be remembered.
To all Christians who have lost dear ones in Christ; I want to inform you that the Last change you saw in the body of your departed ones is not the final change. The final change is the glorious, Resurrection Change! This final change for good will take place when Christ returns and the dead are raised. All Christians, both those who have died and those still alive, will have their physical, perishable bodies changed instantly into spiritual imperishable body. Death will have no more power over believers in Christ. The world through its politics, economy and leadership will never be able to affect us again.
We all face limitations. Some may have physical, mental, emotional, or financial handicaps. But those handicaps are only temporary. The farthest they can go with us is the grave and not beyond. The Word of God tells us we shall all be given new bodies, and these bodies will be without handicaps, never to die or become sick.
All through these difficult days, you must keep hoping, waiting for the final change-for resurrection!
However, it’s very important to add this, as there is going to be a final change for good for the believers in Jesus Christ, there will also be a final change for the worst for those who reject the salvation of God in Christ Jesus. Those who reject Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will be resurrected too, but only to hear God’s judgment against them and to be sentenced to eternity of torment without Him. There are those who wish to ignore God and His Only Way of saving mankind, and see death as final rest. Jesus does not allow unbelieving people to see death as the end of it all. There is a judgment to face. Hear the Words of Jesus:
“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the grave shall hear His Voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
There is no hope for the world of sinners except damnation. But sinner can confess his sins today, repent of his sinful ways and believe on the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross for the forgiveness of sins. Then he also can with confidence look forward to the final change for good-the resurrection change!
AMEN.
