HANNAH AROSE!
So Hannah ROSE UP…and she was in bitterness of soul, and PRAYED unto the Lord 1 Samuel 1:9,10
And it came to pass, as she CONTINUED PRAYING before the LORD, that Eli marked her mouth. 1 Samuel 1:12
Prior to this record about Hannah, the worship of God at Shiloh (the focal point of Israel’s worship and where the Ark of the Covenant resided) was at low ebb. The worship had been so polluted and desecrated that the people abhorred the worship of God. It was not just a national disgrace and disaster but a dishonour to the Lord of the whole earth.
Obviously, the priesthood, the worship system and the entire nation needed URGENT HELP out of this dismal situation! But the help they desperately needed was resident in a woman called Hannah. The help was packaged in a male child.
However, Hannah did not know that within her lied the help that Israel urgently needed. The help remained innate and silent UNTIL HANNAH AROSE TO PRAY. IF SHE HAD NOT RISEN TO PRAY, SHE WOULD HAVE DENIED THE PEOPLE OF THE HELP THEY NEEDED IN LIFE! SAMUEL WAS A PRODUCT OF HANNAH’S PRAYER!
BELOVED WOMAN OF GOD! There is a help lying buried within you that may never see the light of day UNTIL YOU RISE TO PRAY! Any service or busy-ness that hinders you from praying is a great dis-service to humanity! The same energy you employ in doing every other thing is the same you need to pray. WHY WILL YOU NOT PRAY? Just see what Samuel became eventually!
YOUR FIRST RISING IS A RISING TO PRAY.
In the place of communion with God (spiritual intercourse), the seed of help is deposited and conception of great things begins!
PRAYER RELEASES THE HELP IN YOU!
YOU CANNOT TELL WHAT YOUR PRAYERS CAN GIVE BIRTH TO!
HAVE YOU PRAYED TODAY?
ARISE THEREFORE AND BE PRAYING. AND THE LORD BE WITH THEE.
