GOD’S FINAL JUDGMENT WILL BE ACCORDING TO YOUR DESTINY!
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad” (2 Corinthians 5:10).

What is judgment?
·         Judgment according to the free online dictionary is defined in the following ways:
·         The act or process of judging; the formation of an opinion after consideration or deliberation.
·         The capacity to assess situations or circumstances and draw sound conclusion
·        An opinion or estimate formed after consideration or deliberation, especially a formal or authoritative decision.

From the foregoing, judgment can be defined as God’s final and authoritative decision or conclusion about every person based on his impartial consideration, or deliberation or assessment in the Day of Judgment. The Bible which is the word of God emblematically teaches of the reality or certainty of a judgment day! There are two basic truths about God’s judgment: One, it will apply to everybody without exception! Although there are categories of judgments as revealed in the scriptures, yet it is very clear that everybody- both saint and sinner will be judged! Jude: 14, 15. Two: God’s judgment will be according to what is done in the body, whether it be good or bad.

Understanding The Body
When the bible says that everyone will be judged according to what they use their body to do; the direct and logical implication is that the body is actually made for the purpose of doing something. And since purpose precedes production; it also implies that there is a pre-determined deed expected of the body to do before it will be made. This is because the purpose of a product was determined before it was produced. And since no reasonable producer will produce a product if there is no purpose, reason, function or need that the product is going to meet; the body which you are wearing is for a purpose – it is meant to do [or carry out] specific assignment on earth. This assignment is your destiny. “That is why, when Christ came into the world, he said to God, “You did not want animal sacrifices or sin offerings. But you have given me a body to offer.” [Heb 10:6, 7]. For Jesus, He knew clearly what he was to do with his body, and that was to offer it!

I hope you know that the body you are putting on is not the real you!?  The man was first and foremost a spirit being before the body of clay was made for him. [Genesis1:26]. The destiny of man was first decided before God made a body with which to fulfil his destiny [Genesis2:7]. So then, the body is a tool, or vessel through which man is to discharge and fulfil the content of his divine mandate from heaven. And whereas God was directly involved in the making and moulding of the body of the first man; He had thereafter appointed the womb of a woman as the theatre for the making of every child that would come to earth. So the nine month of conceptions is actually the period of making the body that would fulfil destiny. Therefore, the real you is not the body. The real you is the unseen man wearing the body for identification and doing. That is why when you die; everything about your body will still be visible while the real you would be gone! “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.”

You Need To Know…
When a man does not know the value of s
omething, whether human or material, two things happen- abuse or misuse. Likewise, when peoples lack the knowledge of the destiny or the purpose which they are expected to accomplish while living in the body, they will inadvertently use the body for the wrong things. A person who lacks a clear and adequate knowledge of what he should spend his life in the body for, will easily misplace purpose for pleasure; proven wrong ambitions because of popularity or financial value; and be entangled with chains of reaction that he cannot personally explain. Failure to know what you are for in the body will consequently make you lavish all the year appointed to your body in wasteful living. And when that body reaches its expiry date, then what will follow is judgment! “And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment” [Hebrew9:27].

And just as a man has said, men everywhere are generally separated into two categories even by their living: those who believe they are primarily a body having a soul; and those who believe they are first and foremost a soul having a body. That is a food for thought.

JUDGMENT ACCORDING TO YOUR DESTINY!

There is a judgment day! When God, the righteous Judge, will judge everyone – both saints and sinners according to deeds done in the body. Yes, we understand from the scriptures that there are two kinds of judgment: believers’ judgment for reward and sinner judgment for condemnation. Yet, both shall receive judgment according to the deeds done in the body. It requires the use of the body to do both righteous deeds and unrighteous deeds. Without the involvement of the body, sin cannot be committed and righteous deeds cannot be done. When God was spelling out the destiny of the first man for which he would need a body to fulfil; sin was not part of the statement of destiny. But man became a sinner when he engaged his body in a wrong use contrary to the statement of his destiny.

Let it be known unto you that the body is NOT for sin! The body is not given you for fornication, stealing, smoking, drunkenness, falsehood, idolatry, adultery, fighting, backbiting, cheating and all forms of sexual perversions.  You need to understand that the power of sin is not in sin itself but in its capacity to render you impotent and disabled from discovering and fulfilling the destiny for which God has allowed you to come to earth and ordained you to. You cannot be a habitual sinner and still fulfil destiny. It is NOT just possible! It therefore, became a necessity for you to receive Jesus Christ the Redeemer into your life for the forgiveness of your sins and the cleansing of your conscience from dead works for you to escape the fiery judgment awaiting every unrepentant sinner (Rev. 21:8); and also to discover your purpose (Col. 1:16 MSG).  For with sin you cannot come near this Glory which can help you to fulfil His purpose (your destiny) for your life.

And the moment you become a new creature in Christ, the journey of fulfilling the good works of purpose begins in earnest. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:10).

So the question is what are you doing with and in your body? For the judgment shall be according to the deeds done in the body whether it be good or bad.   Even as a believer, there is something God “hath before ordained” that you should live for. You need to know this and throw your life completely into it. This work of destiny is that which everything you are, have and own must contribute to its fulfilment. There are many people today who are spending and being spent for wrong purposes. There are people who are zealously running an errand which has nothing to do with their destiny. It is important you know that what we are talking about is not being popular; there are people who are popular in wrongdoings. This issue of destiny also has nothing to do with how much money you are able to make; armed-robbers, kidnappers, corrupt politician, fraudsters, false prophets and hire assassins also make plenty money. It is all about you discovering and fulfilling the destiny for which God gave you the body. I just hope this is not too late for somebody!

God will not reward you for what He never committed to your hands. Who were you created to be? What exactly did God have in mind when He formed you? Are you fulfilling that purpose today? Do you even know the purpose? Have you been distracted by
adulation and accolades of men? Have you allowed the pursuit of wealth to take you off course? Are you constantly going back to God to get your bearing that you are on course? If you died tonight (God forbid) would you be the man you were meant to be? Please reflect deeply while you still have the opportunity to do so. May you never spend your life on that which profits not.

Remember: “…we must ALL appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his own body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad”. (2 Cor. 5:10). This then is the judgment: God gave you a body to fulfil a destiny which He ordained you to fulfil, and you used the same body for something else!

Hope what you are busy doing now is the work of destiny!? Think and do something about it, for your judgment shall be according to your destiny!
