When a man does not know the value of something, whether human or material, two things happen – abuse and misuse. Likewise, several things will normally happen to a man if he does not know all that is written concerning him. When a man lacks a clear and adequate knowledge of heavens demands over his life, he lives carelessly and anyhow, not being mindful of what his life ought to produce. Such a man falls for everything since he has no vision and convictions of things to personally stand for. A man who is in darkness concerning the divine plans and purposes of God for his life can easily misplace purpose for pleasure and be entangled with chains of reaction that he cannot personally explain. A man who has not discovered the written will concerning his life will eventually squanders all the grace and heavenly provisions for his destiny in riotous living in a far country like the prodigal son. It is a great disaster for a man not to know the mathematical equation of his life in the heavenly balances. Let me ask you, do you know? If not, you can as well mortgage your glorious destiny for just one morsel of bread like the profane Esau. You will also waste precious opportunities, forfeits unmerited grace and jeopardize the destiny of generations yet unborn like Saul, the first king of Israel. Lack of the knowledge of Gods purpose and counsel for his life made him to be trivial with the instruction that would have established him and his posterity on the throne of Israel forever. But alas! It was too late before he knew. May you not discover your purpose when it is too late to live for it.
Lack of knowledge of the origin of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Scheme has caused several Christian corps member to approach the year with ill-preparedness and consequently wasted and squandered Gods provision for their lives to have fulfilled destiny. Because they did not know, theirs was a wasted time, wasted years and wasted life! Some went through the service year as when a snake passes over a rock, with no visible impact for the kingdom throughout the one year. Others approached it with personal ambition and selfish interest of making fortune out of it. There are still some who went into it full of the grace of God and the life of the Spirit, but came back emptied, injured and wounded in the course of the service year. Yet everything borders on the lack of the knowledge of the original purpose of God for the NYSC scheme. If you also fail to discover what the mind of God is, in the matter of the National Youth Service Corps, it is likely that you fall into the categories of people mentioned above. May the Lord give you understanding.
